Responsible Lending

When issuing loans, Mercury Credit OÜ follows the principles of responsible lending.

Plan Your Loans

Mercury Credit OÜ operates under the responsible lending principles established by the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority, providing pre-contractual information to clients and outlining potential risks associated with taking out a loan.

Before taking a loan, always assess your needs and financial capacity carefully, considering whether it makes sense to take on financial obligations.

  • Evaluate whether the loan terms align with your interest in credit and financial situation.
  • Consider possible life changes (such as increased expenses from starting a family or decreased income from retirement, salary reduction, or job loss).
  • Weigh how these changes could impact your ability to repay the loan.
  • Always provide the Lender with all accurate and necessary information regarding your interest in the credit service, financial situation, income, obligations, and other data requested in the application.
  • Use the loan calculator to estimate the amount of monthly payments and the total repayment amount.
  • Remember, exact amounts are calculated individually for each loan agreement.
  • Review the contract along with the pre-contractual information and explanations provided to you, including the consumer credit information sheet.
  • Consider if the offered terms meet your needs.
  • If you have questions, our specialists are happy to help via phone at 529 7617 or email at info@merc.ee.
  • You have the option to withdraw from the loan agreement within 14 days of signing by submitting a withdrawal notice to the Lender.
  • A loan can always be repaid early.

A loan agreement made with full awareness and responsibility can help you avoid future issues.
